What to think through before your AI strategy call
Five prompts. You don't need to write anything down — but people who arrive having thought about these get dramatically more out of twenty minutes.
Where are people already using AI?
Not where you've approved it — where it's actually happening. Personal ChatGPT accounts count. Especially those.
What data can never leave?
Client financials, patient records, privileged matters, proprietary IP. Name the categories, not the feelings.
Which workflow eats the most expert hours?
The one your best-paid people quietly resent. Proposals, research, document review — where does the time actually go?
Who would own AI internally if you had to pick today?
If the honest answer is "nobody, really," that's not a failure — it's the exact problem we'd be discussing.
What would "working" look like in 90 days?
A measured result you'd show your leadership team. If you can't picture it yet, that's fine — that's what a roadmap is for.
